“The Two Lives of Sepideh” to Compete at NOYIFF: A New Generation’s Cinema Awakens in New Zealand
The short film The Two Lives of Sepideh, directed by Soha Niasti, has been selected to compete in the National Competition section of the inaugural New Order Youth International Film Festival (NOYIFF). This first edition of the festival will take place from November 2 to 8, 2024, in New Zealand.
NOYIFF aims to inspire young filmmakers, fostering a new dynamic order of collaboration, creativity, and mutual understanding across cultures. Its vision is to elevate the voices and aspirations of youth, pushing the boundaries of cinema as a global art form that connects people worldwide. The festival’s motto is “Reignite the Fiery Pulse of Cinema!”
The short film Two Lives of Sepideh has already won multiple awards at international festivals. The international distribution of the film is managed by White Dreams Pictures, under the leadership of Mastaneh Mohajer.
