An Iranian feature film “Barren” directed by Mansour Vosoughi and produced by Mohammad
Kamalipour has been selected in the competition section of the 8th “ARCTIC OPEN International Film Festival ” .
This festival will be held from December 5 to 8 in Arkhangelsk, Russia.
The festival is looking to showcase the feature films, shorts and documentaries released in 2023-2024 and dedicated to the life and culture of different communities, indigenous peoples or challenges faced in today’s world – the sort of films that tell a story and would make people think.
ARCTIC OPEN screens local and international professional or first-time filmmakers, celebrating the best filmmaking from across the globe.
The international distribution of this film is managed by White Dreams Pictures, headed by Ms. Mastaneh Mohajer.
