“Two Lives of Sepideh” Wins Special Jury Award at 20th Akbank Istanbul Film Festival
The short film “Two Lives of Sepideh,” directed by Soha Niasti, has won the Special Jury Award at the 20th Akbank Istanbul Short Film Festival, held from March 25 to April 4, 2024.
The festival screened 96 short films from 41 countries out of 2,421 submissions. “Two Lives of Sepideh” was selected for the Special Jury Award. Worldwide distribution of the film is handled by White Dreams Pictures, led by Mastaneh Mohajer.
The film has previously won the award at the 31st Sgurdi Altrove Milan festival and has been screened at the 38th Fribourg, 12th Post Ally, and 39th Clermont Ferrand Market Picks festivals.
