The feature film Can Not Be, directed by Pedram Pouramiri and Hossein Doumari, has been selected to compete in the 10th edition of the Cyrus Film Festival. This prestigious event will be held from December 15 to 17, 2023, at Innis Town Hall, University of Toronto.

The Cyrus Film Festival is one of the most significant platforms for showcasing Iranian cinema in North America, offering an opportunity to present the latest and most remarkable Iranian films to a global audience. This year, 16 films are competing in the feature film category, representing a diverse range of genres from arthouse to commercial cinema.

The international distribution of Can Not Be is managed by White Dreams Pictures, under the supervision of Mastaneh Mohajer.
