The Short Film The Two Lives of Sepideh Selected for Competition at the 8th ECHO BRICS Film Festival
Directed by Soha Niasti, The Two Lives of Sepideh has been officially selected to compete in the 8th ECHO BRICS Film Festival in Russia. The festival, which will take place from November 5 to November 10, aims to introduce diverse and culturally rich films from new and established BRICS nations to a global audience, with this year’s theme, “BRICS – New Horizons.”
This edition marks a new chapter for BRICS, with Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates joining the alliance, bringing fresh perspectives and expanding the scope of the festival.
The main goal of the festival is to showcase unique cinematic works by talented BRICS filmmakers, presenting their cultural, historical, and environmental narratives to audiences, critics, and the jury. International distribution for The Two Lives of Sepideh is handled by White Dreams Pictures, managed by Mastaneh Mohajer.
