The short film “Two Lives of Sepideh,” written, directed, and produced by Soha Niasti, has been selected for the 20th Akbank Istanbul Short Film Festival, held from March 25 to April 4, 2024.

The festival is a prestigious international event that showcases the best in short filmmaking from around the world. “Two Lives of Sepideh” is one of 96 films from 41 countries that were selected to compete for the festival’s awards.

The film tells the story of a young woman who is struggling to come to terms with her past. It has been praised for its strong performances, its creative storytelling, and its important message.
