“No One Sleeps” Wins the Special Award at the Kenya International Sports Film Festival

The feature documentary “No One Sleeps”, directed by Sam Kalantari, has won the Special Award at the Kenya International Sports Film Festival (KISFF) held in Nairobi, Kenya, from October 16–19, 2025.

KISFF is one of the most prominent film festivals in Africa dedicated to exploring the intersection between sports and cinema.

Through an inspiring and deeply human narrative, “No One Sleeps” follows a group of Iranian women climbing Mount Damavand, transforming a mountain expedition into a powerful symbol of resilience, identity, and hope.
